Lahey Hospital & Medical Center

Ambassador: Dr. Jing-Lun (James) Xu

My name is Jing-Lun, or James. I am currently a cardiology fellow at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center. I have completed my internal medicine residency as well as my vascular medicine fellowship at Lahey previously as well. I am originally from Montreal, Canada. I completed my medical school at the University of Limerick in Ireland. My professional interests include cardiac critical care and interventional cardiology, with a particular focus on mechanical circulatory support devices. I am thrilled to be part of the CardioNerds community, where I hope to learn from the best in the field while sharing knowledge and resources with my peers. Ultimately, my goal is to educate, inspire, and help shape the next generation of cardiologists.

The CardioNerds Healy Honor Roll & Ambassadors Program

The CardioNerds Healy Honor Roll is the list of cardiovascular fellowship programs which support the CardioNerds mission to Democratize Cardiovascular Education. These programs foster the CardioNerds spirit by:

  • Nominating a CardioNerds Ambassador – see below
  • Contributing open-access content by way of CNCR cases: Learn more here.

The CardioNerds Ambassadors are fellows nominated by CardioNerds fellowships to represent education at their program. They are an esteemed group of highly motivated individuals with a passion for education. The goal is to both:

  • Ensure representation on the platform from their programs
  • Foster their individual personal & professional development

The CardioNerds Healy Honor Roll is named after Dr. Bernadine Patricia Healy, a CardioNerd Hero who was the first female director of the National Institutes of Health and accomplished incredible achievements during her career.
